Alorna Alvarinho & Viognier Reserve 2017
Manual harvesting grapes are pressed and their musts clarified separately. Different fermentation of the two varieties begins in stainless steel vats and French oak barrels (30% of the lot), maturing on fine lees for 6 months. After the final blend, the wine is stabilized and filtered before bottling.
In the mouth it is harmonious and sweet, revealing an oiliness conferred by the fermentation of the barrel and creating a sensation of complexity, with a pleasant and persistent finish.
