Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Nacional e Tinta Roriz.
Carlos Alves
The best cuvettes are chosen for harvest ports that have been matured for at least 7 years in oak barrels. During this period, the wine is submitted several times. Bottling is done as needed, but the label should indicate the age of the wine, the year of bottling and that the wine has been matured in wood. Old tawnies from a single year, matured in a barrel for a minimum period of 8 years.
Amber color with a bouquet reminiscent of dried fruits and spices. In the mouth it is soft and velvety, with a persistent finish.
