Borges Douro Reserve 2017
Cold skin maceration and later pressing. Cold decantation after which the must was cleaned. Fermentation ended in new French and Hungarian oak barrels.
After the end of alcoholic fermentation, he was in batonnage on fine lees for 6 months.
Clear, straw yellow in colour. Lush aroma, with citrus notes of grapefruit and melon nuances, revealing a lot of complexity, also a result of the barrel aging.
It is a full-bodied and unctuous wine, whose good acidity and balance gives it freshness. With an intense and tropical flavour, the presence of wood gives it a long and persistent finish.
