Crasto Old Vines Reserve
The grapes from old vines were transported in boxes of 22 kg of food plastic and subjected to rigorous sorting on a table of choice at the entrance to the cellar. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. After the end of alcoholic fermentation, the grapes are gently pressed in hydraulic presses.
With a deep ruby colour, it is very enveloping on the nose, where you can immediately see the identity of the old vines. Complex aroma with notes of fresh cistus, light cocoa, all very well integrated with wild Douro fruits. Starts the mouth tasting in an elegant way, quickly evolving into a wine of great solidity, where we find an excellent volume and a compact structure, composed of fresh velvety tannins.
A wine of singular identity that ends harmonious and very persistent.
